There are no fees for our services and no deposits are required unless otherwise requested by the vendors for larger group bookings. My site is laboriously updated by me as information is relayed to me by the various vendors. Please note that the Free Island Info is at times, difficult to keep up with as facts can change without notice often and over the years many vendors forget that they have the free listings, so please accept my sincere apologies in advance for any inaccuracies :(.

Due to the magnitude of emails along with nuisance spam mail (that at times is difficult to contro), answering each and every email continues to be a challenge. I operate strictly on a referral basis and no payment is required of you until your check-in to the activities. No Deposits are required unless a vendor requires it for large parties. In the majority of cases, a credit card is required only to secure and confirm your reservation. Advanced bookings are extremely beneficial to you and you may alter them without penalty as long as changes are made within the terms of each individual vendor's policies. This may vary from vendor to vendor. We cater to your specific needs and what will fit into your budget, making your vacation dreams a reality.

I have lived on Kauai since 1974, and originally arrived on Oahu in 1953. Lucky for me, my mother was born in Honolulu. I was born in China. I visited Kauai for the first time in 1971. My ancestors were the first group of plantation workers who came to work in the plantations in Kohala, on the Big Island. My Great Grandfather eventually moved to Honolulu and opened up a coffee stand for 5 cents a cup. He complained to King Kalakaua that the royal guards at Iolani Palace were not paying him. Happy to report that the kind King got most of them to pay up! I am full Chinese, but feel very Hawaiian. I love Kauai today as much as I did back in 1974. You will fall in love with it too! I have 4 grown adult children (they aren't children anymore but guess they will always be my children :), one still in college, and a very supportive husband. My youngest is 25 ... WOW! I understand what your needs are in regard to family. I've been dabbling with my art all my life and below is my latest passion.

Just a note: I do take breaks daily away from the computer, though my husband would disagree. You can always leave me a voice message anytime @ (808) 821-1000. Mondays - Fridays are the best days to catch me live but I am open for calls 7 days a week at anytime. I have a date with my husband every Saturday and we sometimes add a bonus Friday night. Occasionally I am walking with Kiwi (our 3 1/2 year old 1/4 English Pit & 3/4 White Lab) or she does the treadmill :). She is now a service dog, a good samaritan, and a certified pet visitor at the Garden Island Long Term care unit at Wilcox Memorial Hospital and also visits the Wilcox Adult Day Care every Friday between 10:30 am - 1:00 pm every Friday.

I learned to swim better in August 2008 and now do a Masters swim every morning at 5:30 am and am usually back in my office by 9-10 am Mon - Thurs. Caring for myself helps me care for you even better. Caring for others is just a way we give back to those in need.

Our next volunteer commitment is to students at Kapaa Elementary School who struggle with reading. Kiwi will be joining a pilot program called 'Paws to Read' where the children in an A+ program will be reading to her twice a month.
